1. Data We Collect

• User-Provided Google Gemini API Key: To use this extension, you must provide your own Google Gemini API key. This key is stored locally on your computer using Chrome's synchronized storage (chrome.storage.sync), which allows you to use the same key across your devices where you are logged into Chrome.
• Image URLs: When you analyze an image, the URL of that image is sent to our backend server.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your API key and the image URL are sent to our secure backend server. The backend then uses your key to make a request to the Google Gemini API on your behalf to generate an image description.

We do not store, log, or share your API key or the image URLs you process on our backend server. All processing is done in real-time and is stateless.
